A foot orthotic is a device that can be inserted into the shoe to support, align, prevent and or accommodate foot deformities and improve foot function.

Do your legs feel tired, swollen and/or achy at the end of the day? Do your varicose veins or spider veins hurt? Are you travelling often? Do you participate in long distance cycling, running or sports?

Whether you are on your feet all day for work or you engage in an active lifestyle, proper orthotic footwear is essential.

Whether you’re playing sports or you happened to slip on a wet floor, injuries are unpredictable. Not only are they painful, but they can set you back with your current lifestyle.

A custom made orthotic is not truly custom until it is properly fitted into your footwear. Since your everyday lives call for different types of shoes,

your orthotic should be made to accommodate them!

Common Conditions

Unsure if you need orthotics? Here are some of our common conditions. There a lot more! Click the button below.

01

Plantar Fasciitis

Plantar Fasciitis (also commonly referred to as heel spurs) is a painful condition that can be felt in the heel of the foot (where the plantar fascia band originates). This fascia band becomes “yanked” and inflamed if the arch is overpronating and/or excessively collapsing over time.

02

Flat Foot

Flat foot (medically known as Pes Planus) is a condition where the foot has minimal/no arch. This biomechanical deformity often causes over-pronation in the foot, which leads to knee and lower back pain due to knee and hip torsion.

03

Knee Pain

Knee pain is related to the foot’s poor alignment. When the feet do not align properly, there will be internal rotational stress on the knees, which can cause knee pain as time progresses.

04

Shin Splints

Shin splints (medically referred to as Medial Tibial Stress Syndrome) are tiny stress fractures where periosteum of the muscle inserts into the tibia bone. They often initiate after running, jogging, walking and even standing for prolonged periods of time.
